About this listing

This end terrace house is perfectly situated for both the town centre and the beach – the lovely shops, bars and restaurants of the High St and Seaview St areas are nearby and everything Cleethorpes has to offer is within easy walking distance.

With three bedrooms this house can sleep up to six people – making it an ideal base for a seaside family getaway, a break with friends, or to accommodate a small team of visiting workforce.

As a base for work, this property is around half an hour from the Port of Immingham and the Humber Bank industries, and 15 minutes drive from Grimsby Docks. This is a 10 minute walk from the train station, and is on a bus route.

The Space

The front door opens into a cosy living room with chesterfield sofas and a Smart TV – WiFi is included so you can log into your own entertainment accounts or cast onto it using your smartphone or laptop.

The stairs separate the two downstairs living rooms, due to the age of the house they may feel quite steep to some – but there is a handrail and they are well lit.

The back living room has another Smart TV, a four place dining table which can be extended to seat six, if this is required extra chairs can be provided. The main feature of the room is a large fireplace with an antique pot bellied multifuel stove.

The galley-style kitchen is fully equipped with all you should need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. There is an electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and most importantly a kettle – tea and coffee are provided so just let me know if you’ve any preferences on the milk and biscuits!

Beyond the kitchen, at the back on the ground floor is a shower room leading into a large bathroom. Historically the room which is now the bathroom was once an outhouse accessed from outside, the deeds of the house indicate that this was a brick manufacturers with a brick kiln housed here – there is a fireplace and an oven which have been retained in renovations. The fixtures of these, although old, may or may not be the originals but they remain as a quirky nod to the past history of the building. There is a freestanding cast iron bath. Towels are provided, and soap.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms. The back bedroom has a superkingsize bed, and a freestanding double wardrobe. The larger of the two front bedrooms has a double bed, a dressing table and a built-in wardrobe. The smaller bedroom has a small double (4’) bed, a single freestanding wardrobe and a small chest of drawers. A hairdryer is provided, and an iron and ironing board.

Outside there is a paved back yard with a good sized rear patio and a shed.

There is currently no dedicated parking for this property (may be subject to change shortly,) therefore parking is on-street only.

There is a keysafe, enabling self check-in when required, by prior agreement.
